Is the entrance examination conducted by all colleges separately?

Each individual university conducts its own entrance examination. For example: Delhi University, IP University, etc.

What does the entrance exam test?

The entrance exam continues to test core areas such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Business Awareness. However, some universities do not test all of the above mentioned areas.

What is the eligibility criteria?

Each college has a different set of rules. For example: Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies requires a minimum of 60% in class 12th. BBE requires a minimum of 55% in class 12th.

Is maths compulsory for applying for BBA degree in class 11th and 12th ?

No. Most BBA entrance exams do not require maths at 11th and 12th level.

What after BBS/BBA?

Students can get placed after completion of the degree. Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies has an active placement cell. Companies such as AT Kearny, ABN Amro Bank, Airtel, Citibank, etc., are offering attractive packages immediately after the completion of BBS. Students can also go for higher studies after the completion of the degree.

BBS is a full time, 3 yr degree course offered by Delhi University.

What is the basic difference between BBS and BFIA?

BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies): BBS is a 3 yr, full time general management programme. In this program, one has the flexibility of choosing a specialization in the last two semesters. BFIA (Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis): BFIA is a pure finance program and one can´t choose any specialization other than finance.
